By: Jannat-ul Mava

Gender equality is a fundamental human right and a cornerstone for a peaceful and prosperous world. Despite significant progress over the years, disparities between genders persist in various aspects of life, including education, employment, and political representation.

Globally, women and girls continue to face barriers that limit their opportunities and potential. For instance, in many regions, girls are less likely to receive education compared to boys, which affects their future job prospects and economic independence. Additionally, women often encounter wage gaps and underrepresentation in leadership roles, hindering their ability to influence decision-making processes.
